The Hong Kong league system is organised into 6 tiered divisions, gathering 5,824 clubs. Each season the best go up and the bottom sides go down, decided by play-offs between teams from neighbouring divisions.
Honours by season

Champions League representatives
Each season the national champion and the national cup winner represent the country in the continental Champions League. When the same club wins both trophies, the cup runner-up inherits the second berth. Lower-ranked nations first play knockout preliminary rounds before reaching the group stage.
